    Hi everyone!

i was cleaning the back of my taco and found this red clip under the back seat. Does anyone know what this is and if it needs to be replaced? I lost the original, but found it on Amazon.
    Any thoughts?

They use those to hold interior plastic pieces on. Probably got dropped at assembly and made its way out. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it (unless your truck has an annoying rattle you haven't been able to find, lol)

It’s shocking how expensive plastic parts have become, even if that’s a price for a pack. Sell it on EBay for $12.

Yeah that’s what I figured. I hate these stupid clips. I’m always breaking them and can either buy one at an outrageous price or buy a thousand of them.

i saw it and for the life of me couldn’t see where it’s supposed to go haha

the dealer did a chisel check for my child seat anchor recall…I’m thinking they may have knocked something lose…

The back panels behind the back seats are attached with those clips so if the panels were removed, there's usually one near the bottom that falls off during the reattachment process. The "Oh Jesus Clip" as I call them, are utilized through out the truck so having a thousand of them might not be a bad idea. If you buy them, I'll go in halfsies with you!

Haha thanks for the offer! I found a video detailing these clips. I was planning on replacing the back storage units for something more usable, so I’ll be ripping out the other ones anyway.
    Thanks for the responses y’all!

If you sneeze near them they will break! First time I pulled out the dash I broke three of them.

I ended up going to NAPA auto parts and bought a bag of them.

That's the pin to the factory self-distruct. If you don't replace in 48 hrs your truck will explode.
