Added a 2nd setup for passenger side on mine too awhile back....since I had bought different arms and ended up with 2nd x-grip.....just added the ball mount and put extra arm with x-grip in glovebox until needed. Good spot for a cam too...........

Walked my son through the clockspring replacement on the 2012 today. Only issue was a little too aggressive separating the angle sensor. All worked out fine. $11 clockspring and 45 minutes, including some time after disconnecting battery, and the cruise control works again. After 50 years of doing all the work it's nice to stand back and let him do these things. Good confidence builder. So far he is good at oil changes, all the filters, plugs, coils, distributor caps, rotors, plug wires, brakes and calipers, radiators, hoses, thermostats, a/c charging, belts, blower motors, grille swaps, tranny coolers, starters and alternators. Next up will be spring and strut swaps. Still needs to learn how to do suspension work like tie rods, ball joints and cv shafts. The most important lesson I have taught him is that dealers are not your friend financially. He is lucky. Back in my youth there was no youtube. You either read the Haynes manual or just winged it. Even with automotive high school and trade schooling most of my knowledge came from hands on knuckle-bleed learning on the fly. I did learn a lot from old schoolers when I worked at a Ford dealer back in the 70's. Then I went into skilled trades and never wrenched again for a living. I cannot count the thousands I have saved by working on the family cars in my life. It is a shame that high schools no longer have auto technology in the curriculum.

I saw lots of them in 3 packs for $10.99 so I figured I'll try the 6 pack for $20 hoping they would all fit the same. It took a little more force to get the 4x4 knob off. I had to make sure to hold the module in place while pulling the knob off.

What you posted above qualifies as a post. I too agree it is a little excessive, but that is how the site is set up. There are plenty of hobby and shared interest threads that you can post in to quickly jump to 50, not to mention a lot of threads started on general BS.

There are also local threads that post Tacoma related Craigslist ads that you may be able to leave sale details in as well. That’s how I sold my wheels.

That I am not sure of, it may be something to PM a Mod on.

For what it’s worth I saw you have 18 posts now, up from 17 earlier. So the site appears to be catching all of your recent activity.

I was supposed to be getting the truck ready for a wheeling trip this coming up weekend but I got a little distracted. She did fine towing so I guess she’s all good to go.

went and tested the new LT suspension. Want to say im super impressed. Night and day difference. Arms took some super hard hits and came away with just missing powder coat. Trails were super sloppy. Of course Vid never shows the reality. Good way to properly break in lol.
