Not sure why I haven’t thought of this before. But I can bring plenty of firewood assuming no one has issues with me bringing construction lumber drop offs. I’ll be sure not to bring treated lumber drops.

I don't have a problem with it. They also sell wood there for a decent price.

I could bring some kiln dried hardwood scraps. Curly maple, cherry, walnut, rosewood…

Hey all, hopping back on after a nice kick in the gonads. Apparently I'm at that stage of life where you learn to let go of high school buddies.

Baraboo trip never happened as everyone stopped responding/came to the realization they weren't ready to give up their Labor day weekend for good ol' fashioned camping. (Three night minimum on holiday weekends.)

As a result I pissed and moaned while I could've been out exploring. Got some family time in, golfing, and helped my FIL get a new battery for his Honda.

But I still have a hankering for getting out there this year. So if you'll have me, despite my sins of missing out on Pipeline, I would love to squat on someone's face....err....I mean space. Just stocked up on more cigars in my bigger pelican humidor and still have half of that Costco Whisky left as tributes.

Mind if I join the caravan? @rubbersidedown @SJ87 I'll join/make a group pm to hash out the details.

That's a bummer, we've all had similar disappointments surely.

Fairly confident that there's space left for Tigerton, although I haven't read through everything. Stogies are always a good gesture!

It looks like there should still be plenty of room. So far, it looks like we have 11 campers and 6 sites.

I believe @Supr4Lo said some of the sites would have room for more than 2 campers.

Like @WiscoPat mentioned, we've all had friends commit to things and fall through.

As far as letting go of old buddies, I guess it depends. I have some friends who have never had interest in camping, and we're still friends. We just get together on different occasions. This includes one of my best friends, I've known him since '87, I think.

But, if you have completely different goals and interests, you might drift apart with some people.

The good thing is that you might end up making some new friends here. I've certainly been lucky to find some of the most genuine and interesting people here!

Looking forward to seeing you in Tigerton! Or, depending on how that week goes, maybe I'll be joining the caravan along the way. :D

    Yes, they are!

There is room for you at Tigerton so feel free to join us Sep 23-25! I'll mark you on a site 63 with @Thatbassguy

Looks like we're going to have a large group, which is awesome! I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone!

Just tell him to leave to top up this time lol. I'll mark Dave on your site.

Found out Sunday I have covid. I will be better. Our plans for after Tigerton have changed. We are not going to Texas for a wedding. Logan and Helen's have postponed it.

He can only come if he agrees to keep the top down.

We shall see, he's probably brining his White 2 door jeep this time since it has yet to see dirt!

That two-door should walk all over all of our trucks on technical trails. We're going to have to encourage him to get his money's worth out of it. :)

Changed my plans and I'm in for Tigerton. Reserved the raddest campsite number 69 yeaaaaahhhh. Jokes aside I'd assume there would be room at that site for others. Will be driving up on Friday and heading out Sunday. @Supr4Lo please add me on this post?

Still not sure on the Bayfield/Apple Fest because I have no idea where I'll be yet. Tigerton begins my vacation for 3+ weeks and (as long as Tigerton doesn't break stuff) I go where the wind takes me. If I'm in that neck of the woods I'll come by, if not then next time.

Man, you guys are bad influences. I'm trying to burn bridges here lol but you make fair points. Ican't get mad at anyone with a different level of passion/interest for being outdoors.

I only have one sample pool to pull from (beer garden) but it's been nothing but a good time with you fine gentlemen. Heck I might even mature a little hanging around you guys.
