for the fj guys

is this a good set up for lifting an fj to be good on street and beast off road?

fox 2.5's up front
and the fox kit in the rear
what else would be needed?

 

Can't go wrong with that setup. I highly recommend UCAs.

Like Seth said, you cant go wrong. The tire choice is up to you. A lot of guys like the 35's, others like the 33's.

 

what about upper and lower links?

I put on 35"s but be ready for rubbing and a body mount chop is required.

Lower links are a must if you are actually going off road. the stock lower links are whimpy and bend easy. check with Stan at www.thetoyoutfitters.com. He has a very good DOM tubing product and his prices are very reasonable.
