    Heads up.

Just got a call from one of the dealerships I have a down payment with in Raleigh, NC - Fred Anderson Toyota - for an Army Green TRDOR. Apparently Army Green will not be an option for '23.

According to dealer, my second choice - Lunar Rock - will still be available.

Has anyone else heard that Army Green was no more on the '23s?

I believe it's officially gone at the end of the 2022MY.

I actually ordered my 2022 back in May, got a call from my vehicle services administrator (I'm a Toyota employee ordering through our employee lease program) second or third week of June telling me that due to supply chain issues that I couldn't get mine in Army Green. I ended up changing mine to white. There's some different things at play as far as what I can and can't get just because of how I ordered it though, and I keep seeing them pop up in AG at dealerships near the house so I think they're still at least making some in that color

When I lived in that area in 2017-2021 that was the dealership I dealt with. If the Service Adviser Oscar Lopez is still there you should request him to take care of your new Tacoma. He’s the best I’ve seen. Great guy. If you tell him Scott Nelson with the Black 2017 Tacoma that always had “No Wash” on service ticket, I’m sure he will know who you’re talking about.

Yep as far as anyone can tell its done after '22. I was trying to get one of the last ones that was coming here to the Charlotte area and according to the dealer of the 300 '22s that are left coming here none were in Green so I settled on Blue Crush.

It’s a shame. As a fan of white on most vehicle, the green may be the best color for the Taco.

Discontinued colors generally fall in two buckets.

The OE actually is willing to 'preserve' some conductibility on certain models. Think Carousel Red on the '69 Judge as an example. (although it was on some other GM models, only on this model of GTO, one year)

Or the color doesn't sell oodles and oodles.

Since the Tacoma isn't really in the collectible group.......... Those who like it, and have it, are the lucky ones.

Said the guys who had Blazin Blue, Inferno, Quicksand, Pyrite Mica, etc. it's a Tacoma. Just makes it more unique from the sea of them.

Wanted to trade the Tacoma in for a new 4runner in Army Green only to learn that color been discontinued for it as well. Seems like the new Tundra is the only toyota with the army green paint now

Might be regional/local type of thing. Here, everyone I know calls it "Old man tan." or occasionally "Taliban Tan". Doesn't seem to be all that popular in my area. Black, white and silver seem to be what I see the most of on the road.

Really? I don’t see AG as an option for any trim level? Guessing it’s locked in certain regions maybe

Edit: Just checked Toyota’s website and it says AG is available for the Tacoma TRD sport, off-road and limited trims only

Get the paint code. Any good body shop can mix it.

    Ah I was specing a '22 not a '23 - wasn't aware you were going for a 2023.

Also that pretty much seals the deal that theres no new 4R in '23 which means no new Tacoma in '24 right? Thought they were planning a new 4R before a new Tacoma
