This is where a high performance radiator can make the difference. I’m parked on the couch with a freezer pack on my belly just waiting for the sun to clear the yardarm feeling grateful I finished up a job Saturday morning.

I might go. I am going to call them about vendoring and bring some hood scoop decals. anyone want to bring a 2nd gen tacoma sport over (Citrus Heights) for a hood scoop decal test subject? I also dont have a 3rd gen pattern yet. Cant do it for free but will split the cost of material with you and do install. Takes me a couple hours to get the design together. :boink:

The Rubicon Trail Foundation has posted this update to the facebook page:

    Mosquito Fire Update:
As most are aware, the Mosquito Fire is currently burning near Foresthill. The TNF has closed the forest East toward the Rubicon Trail,
but not yet part of the Rubicon Trail.

We have received many questions asking if the forest is closed near the trail, and the answer is yes there is a closure NEAR the trail,
but not YET on the trail. So as of this update, the trail is NOT affected.

We will keep you posted on updates between the USFS, Cal Fire and El Dorado County as of the status of the trail. If you are planning on traveling to the Rubicon, please be up to date on information and we recommend having a Ham radio on the Rubicon Repeater for live information if anything changes.
Link to closure (link to map included)

No problems with valve stems. I did pop the driver front bead when I had to winch to drag myself sideways because I was about to roll down the Kaiser side gate keeper though.

    That was fun.

And I had 4 or 5 guys counter weighting. One fell off and broke his ankle... that was not so good. I feel hella bad.
