Buffalo Trace is my go bourbon. Can't beat $27 a bottle.
Blanton's is not bad, at $80, but I keep it in stock for gifts, Eagle Rare is cheaper ($50) and better, IMHO.
Taylor Small Batch is another good choice when I step up from BT. $50 here.
Have not seen Stagg JR in a while, nursing what I have.

My backup is a SiB version of the same, but I got half a bottle before I get there.

 

Not that I can tell. It's just damn good.

MGP juice, but flavor profile very reminiscent of RR10 and EH Taylor Small Batch, even though they all come from different worlds. Not as thick as the UCUF (that stuff was almost syrup) but still a plenty robust body.

Glad I got two. Will likely order an UCUF once I find it at a decent price.

 

It had a bite for me, couldn’t tell if it was spicy or smoky but there was definitely something.

And I liked it. Was a great bourbon to drink neat.

 

I'd argue spicy on the basis of their self-proclaimed high rye mashbill.
