Just got home. Left camp at 11. FS almost locked me in. Kinda wished they would have then I wouldn't have to go to work tomorrow.
Stopped to fish the Blackfoot on the way home. Think it was too hot, only got a couple bites. And I lost my hopper fly.
No wind today, that might be a first. But holy is it hot and smoky! Apartment is 100*, think I'm sleeping in the driveway tonight

Wow, tough call. Be proud you took action and were able to actively kick off and manage rescue operation. Hope and prayers for her full recovery

I've decided to get rid of the silly chamfered/notched corners and just reframe it as a 12x16 rectangle.

Sorry to hear about everything that went upside down and then the crash that your wife had. I can't imagine how hard it was to leave her but you knew that you couldn't give her the help that she needed, so you made the tough call and did what you had to do and it got the kind of help that she desperately needed. You probably saved her life.

I hope that she has a quick and full recovery.

I will be trying to register my Tacoma and our travel trailer kere in KY this week. Had to get the insurances updated for our address to show proof that we live here now. In KY, you register your vehicles at the County Courthouse, Clerk's Office. You only get your driver licenses form the DMV. I had a battle at the DMV last week with the clerk who told me MY state law requires a U.S. birth certificate in order to get a license. I argued that the law states either a birth certificate, or a valid U.S. Passport. Clerk said "No, birth certificate is absolutely required." Even had their Supervisor come over and "confirmed". I went home and downloaded the actual document of "Acceptable forms of Identification" from the KY State DMV web site, and it clearly states "either", so later this month when I get a registered copy of my birth certificate from CA, and I go back to the DMNV office, I can show the clerk they were wrong. SMH.......

I am not very knowledgeable about Frank or his music, but this did immediately remind me of my first Iron Maiden concert in 1983 ("Piece of Mind" tour). Inside the tour program, there was a picture of the band all standing in an open field wearing identical t-shirts that read "We are not an English heavy rock band. We are floss salesmen from Montana."
