    Received multiple door lock and unlock notifications today, not sure what that means but hopefully a good sign. Build date of 8/31, delivery estimate between 9/23 and 10/15.

    I think this forum is kind of kindred spirits all trying to tough this out. I recall that you’re in a similar situation that you currently don’t have your primary vehicle so these unknowns are so frustrating.

    I will have to check with Rod03 at the end of this week to see if there is an update on the boat. Just seems so weird that I would get a doors unlocked notification after 1 AM (which was just after midnight local time in Veracruz) and then not be on the Newark boat that departed Veracruz at 6:17 AM this morning when the next ship is 2 weeks away.

    My wife worked for one of the big car carrier companies and she told me vehicles got left behind all the time. Sigh…

    Do you have to have your perm VIN to access the connected services. My Temp VIN just stopped working but I do not see the perm VIN yet.

    As I understand things, when your permanent VIN is issued, the temporary VIN ceases to exist. I haven't checked, but in theory at least, my Tacoma was built yesterday; I'll give my sales associate until the end of the week to give me the new VIN before I reach out to him and ask.

    I got my perm vin from the dealer website. My salesman hasn’t said anything this whole time actually…. But I don’t mind it. I think this thread has eased most of the anxiety for me, thanks to @Rod03. Luck of the draw too
