Those spots are empty but not seeing the entire context this could be a huge parking lot with no one it and all this captures is that you can’t park in this empty parking lot coming from that direction. Chargers tend to be on the edge of a parking lot, not in the middle of a “driveway”.

 

That’s a big trailer. I wonder what their range is towing that? Looks like a very considerate parking job too.

 

Ohhh…that would be a great replacement for the FJ Cruiser…make it an EV too.

Do you work for Rivian or something? Why do you fight anything negative that is said about or involving a Rivian? That photo clearly shows a row of one way angled parking with a truck and trailer blocking the entire entrance to the row. It’s a douche move no matter what brand of vehicle you drive.

 

Agreed, if they are blocking people from getting somewhere they want, or need, to go. That’s an island in the front right in a parking lot, there is no “driveway” being blocked. Again, EV chargers are typically on the edges of parking lots which is why I asked where this is. Oddly, no response.

A commenter on the auction noticed this. How do you all feel about Chinese parts on a $90K US made vehicle?

Is there any mass-produced vehicle sold in North America with no Chinese-made parts at all?

 

My 2022 hardly does it at all. It’s like my 1st Gen Auto, for the most part. It does downshift a little early though.

 

Does it matter if it’s Chinese made metal, plastic or fabric? I’d expect something better for $90K. Rivian couldn’t find a manufacturer in North America to make their parts?

 

A half million dollar Rolls Royce uses Chinese parts. I wouldn't expect a Rivian not to.

 

I think that's the point though. Stand out from the rest? Like cyber truck?
