I couldn't be happier for Eli winning the championship, what a great year for this being his 12 pro season. I feel for Chase having done so well all season to have just missed the title, but he will be top dog next year. I can't see anybody keeping up with Chase next year, I really enjoy watching him, he just flows and is the smoothest rider I can remember. Like AJH387 said, Lets go get the MXDN title back.

250 moto 1 you think Jett was sand bagging it a bit to help his brother pass Jo?

I actually don't. I think Jo had the pace to pass him. He tried several times but he was trying to be buddy-buddy and wouldn't make an aggressive pass on Jett. It seemed like Jet knew this and was able to pretty much block him, knowing no contact was coming. Was easy to ride defensive at that point. I think if he made an aggressive pass to make it stick then he would've been in the clear. All he got for being a nice guy, was slammed by Hunter. Lol. So hopefully he learned a lesson there. Just my opinion though. I could be wrong.

Just my two cents - I don't think Jett was solely riding to help Hunter, but he was definitely not at his usual, consistent pace for moto 1 (or the day for that matter). He still threw down the fastest lap time for the 250 class in moto 1 (just about at the pace Chase and Eli ran all day for their battles). When all you have to do is finish 12th or better in moto 1 to wrap things up, I gotta think there's reservation to one's riding. Not taking anything from Jo, either, but visually I feel like Jett even looked like he wasnt charging as hard.

Still can't believe Hunter did that, whether it was intentional or not. Didn't look like a two lines coming together incident, more so Hunter ran it hard knowing Jo was on the outside and wasn't going to stop until he used Jo as a berm. People were arguing that Jo should have checked up because he had outside line.... okayyyy. Just go ahead and full stop from 3rd pinned down a hill and cHeCk Up for Hunter to go on by:rofl:

The very least it made 250 moto 1 fun to watch. Was talking to the tv during that race like jo you need to go man. This isn't good. I've seen this before.

Enough to get out front for a 1st second moto. Made for good tv. Would of been a snooze because no one was passing.

Hunter planned on hitting him. Straight from his mouth. Obviously didn't want to knock him, just a gentle rub. But I rarely see those types of hits allow the rider to prevent a fall.

Ya I guess I should clarify. I think Jett was maybe not pushing his usual 100%, since he was in Championship mode. So that is why I think Jo had the pace to get around him. He made several attempts to pass but they were soft. I think Jo didn't want to make contact, knock him down etc knowing he was just trying to finish for the title. That being said, Jett I think knew Jo wasn't going to run it in on him and used that to hold him up a bit. Jett was making some counter moves that if that was a real race, you could've cleaned him out (and probably should've.) So that allowed Hunter to catch up and he obviously had no issues making contact with Jo. So that's why I say, Jo hopefully learns to stop playing nice.

That's a good viewpoint of Jett in defensive mode.

Hunter seems like he's mentally drained from the spotlight.

Was working on my bike today. Haven't ridden much this year with the baby due soon. But hoping to get out at least once more before he's here. Wanna-be Star bike lol.

It's just the cover. I was able to buy the cover on deal so i grabbed it (it was from Star. Logo is scatched out lol.) I will replace my clutch with a Rekluse TorqueDrive kit when it needs one. But that series is still manual (just different pressure plate, more fibers etc.) I tried an auto (i think those are Radius or something. I forget) which is cool. Id maybe get something like that for singletrack woods, but for moto probably not, for my preferences).

Nice. What year? Can't go wrong with those bikes. I've had a bunch over the years. Still have a '19. 1 of the most fun bikes out there.

If Ferrandis doesn't ride, I wonder if they add Vialle and make him ride the 250, then move Marv to MX3 on the 450. Still would be a solid team but certainly stronger with DF on the team. Neterlands and Australia are the other tough teams. There is really no excuse. USA needs to win this one.

It's a 2011. Planning to restyle the plastic to make it look like the modern bikes. It's a fun project. Going to make it an x model. They are fun to just let scream. So much different than my 450.

Awesome. 11s are nice. Still got a good fork, so you can just freshen that up but no need to mod it. I would consider the bigger front brake rotor. They changed those in 17ish to a 270mm. I think they are 250mm on the 11s. That's a nice upgrade that I used to do to all my YZs/YZFs before they started coming stock with the larger rotor. As far as plastic, Polisport makes a full 15-21 style kit. It's the fenders and airbox (which you will need.) Or you could go all-in and get the '22 bodywork but it requires all of that same stuff, plus the subframe. I kind of wanted to do it to my '19 but it's really not worth doing $1000 just for looks. And I don't want to start all over and get rid of my modded '19 for a stock '22 lol. But ya, they are such cool bikes. You'll have a blast on it, I bet.

I had an '05 for my first big bike. I think that was the first year Yamaha came out with the alum frame? An absolute jack of all trades bike haha. Would race RMEC one weekend with it, then turn around and run local motos with it the next. Never changed settings and left the bark busters and big ol skid plate on for the track

I miss that bike. Would love to get another again some day. Though me thinks it was so fun to ride cause I only weighed 125# at that time.
