Don't really want to spend money on tires right now (seeing that my truck is brand new) but really want to lift it up a little.

Anyone have a picture of the TRD lift with stock 16s? Also, what are folks running for tires post-lift (16's)

    Oh look, another mod....
I do. I didn't want to buy new tires AND wheels, so I just bought wheels. My local Discount Tire installed them for me.

I've got the 16" black pro wheels and installed the Goodyears on them. Do you have a picture of the truck further away?

That is a cool color. Is it 2" up front? To be honest, to me it doesn't look it?

Here are the stock wrangler all terrains in 20” of snow with a 2” lift and TRD Pro wheels. It’s a good look I think.

Oh wait… except for the kid on a snowmobile I was drifting with in the small field next to the parking lot.

I don't have an after lift on my truck. What you see is stock from Toyota.

I wonder what the OEM lift looks like on a limited with the 18's.
Ever since I put the steps on the truck for my wife they've been annoying me a bit as I don't need them to get in, but I find myself "stepping over" them to get in which is a bit uncomfortable.
I'm thinking an extra couple of inches lift would be perfect to make using them for me actually matter some and be less uncomfortable to use, and be useful in winter for deep snow to boot.

They make power retractable steps for the Tacoma. They're very pricey (I think $1100?), but will solve your problem.

Total spit ball but I suspect most folks going the factory Toyota/TRD lift are running standard wheels & tires.

This was the day I got my TRD lift kit on. 245/75/16s stock wheels and tires.

Hated it. Looked goofy in person. Saved up some money and got TRD pro wheels and 275/70/17 Falken wildpeak at3ws

Those are smaller than mine. Stock wheels are 265/70R16 on my truck

Not the trd lift, but rather pro suspension with the eibach lift (2.5 inches over stock trd offroad). I want new tires, but I also want wheels... but the kids need new laptops so I have to wait till next summer.
