    Stuff. Also things.
I think @Wulf and others have mentioned the alignment thing. When I did mine, I had the alignment set to where it would be the worst case for rubbing and require the most material removal. I ended up with just over an inch of fender at the very bottom which is a lot less than some guys, but I also didn’t EVER want to have to come back and do it again.

I also got some stock bumps that were cut to about half their height from a local TW guy, so that when I was at full stuff, I was well beyond the stock bump travel. It forced me to remove more material, but again, I was fine with that. Why would I want to risk cutting more later when I could have some extra margin?

Also, as Ben mentioned, plan on a new washer reservoir and having to beat the piss out of the area under the air box and the battery. I think you’re moving your battery, so no biggie there. I haven’t relocated mine yet, and it’s kinda janky.

Take your time with the filler pieces otherwise you’ll hate life when it’s time to weld to the tin foil body. And clean everything as much as you can before you start the seam sealer and paint and all of that. So far, mine has been watertight, but I know other dudes have fought that and it suuuuuucks.

Otherwise, I’m sure you’ll do fine. You’re WAY more handy than I am lol

Yeah I was gonna say, aside from suggesting going MIG with .030 vs flux, any chance you can TIG it instead?

I don't think I'd want to TIG it, would waste a fuckload of time for something where you can't really afford to waste a hand holding filler rod anyway. It all gets covered seam sealer and paint/undercoat anyway. I was just gonna turn the MIG down low with .025

Oh dude you just reminded me of the factory sealer anyway; you'd spend more time cleaning it up prepping for TIG than anything else with the whole project.

Was only referring to the thin gauge you'd be working with.

    Carry on :hattip:

Who knows what's under the seam sealer too, knowing Toyota it's more panel prep, some sort of heavy primer and paint.

The crawler rubs the cage/fender and could stand to be tubbed some more. Instead of tubbing I'd probably move the axle forward for a better approach angle. But I'd have to move the steering box forward. I'd have to delete the core support and build a new one

Or I could go full hydro

Or I could just let it be and keep smashing rocks anyways to quote one of the guys I wheeled with last "that shit just works"
