Idk. Good question. They’re charging 180 dollars + 120 dollars per additional person you bring. 300 dollars does not sound like a fun cheap trip for me and my girlfriend. That’s like 2 nights in a hotel.

 

I believe the airstrip is owned by the Deerhurst Resort .

Thinkin ardbeg since i know my way around there

possibly rays place/ scotch line but i don’t know what its like since the new owners took over.

I’m in Peterborough, so pretty close to bobcaygeon. Ardbeg is like 4 hours from me haha. Where are you from roughly?

 

Listowel area so I'm like 3.5 from ardbeg according to google maps currently.

I’m coming out of a 2 year (minus 1 trip) wheeling hiatus so bear with me lol

 

Well shit, it does truely look like you’re 16 trillion years from anything remotely trail related I know the bobcaygeon trails okayish. The newbie run that we did on them was pretty mild.

Well @tgelata if you’re looking for some easy enough wheeling, we’ve got these trails up here in Peterborough. About 2.5 to 3 hours from you. Pink is the 1st half from the newb run, light blue is the five points fire road. Teal is bass lake. Darker green blue is gooderham. Total of 50ish km off-road. (never done gooderham, no idea how easy this actually is. It looks like a decent little trail on YouTube)

 

Oh ya. Always pulling into camp at like 11 at night lol

Well, it’s been a slice gentlemen, but I’m no longer in a Tacoma.

Pfaff gave me an offer/deal I couldn’t refuse on a truck with no AC (waiting on Compressor from Toyota) and a squeaky clutch pedal that I was too lazy to fix.
How often I’ve been driving around the city for pleasure vs. actually being off the road also played a [fun] factor. I was very much missing having something small, powerful, and fun as a daily.
Back to ze Germans and into a VAG; Problems & issues I’m much more familiar with.

One day, when I can justify the costs of two vehicles, I’ll be back in a [dedicated] off roader to beat on.
I’ll post up some left over stuff I have laying around, most likely for free if you pick it up. I’ll also keep lurking this forum because the people are awesome and the adventure documentation will keep the want for off roading burning.
