    Unfortunate really

There was one in an area where some people wheel/camp not far from me. Not familiar with it but people were posting about it in the local Yota FB group.

That sux are you are you getting smoke from it? The Mosquito fire is burning at the west end of the Rubicon now and smoking out all of Tahoe.

I feel that. If you ever want to totally lose faith in humanity getting their shit together, you just spend a few hours at a walmart.

I'm surprised there's anything left to burn.

Jokes aside fire is good. It is important for a healthy forest.

100% agree. We will drive further and spend more to go to Target to avoid Walmart and the same applies to Lowes and Depot. I hate Home Depot.

It is, but all the fire suppression done over the years is what is causing all these problems.

It stems from the early 2000s they hade the worst customer service and stores looked like shit.

Time has nothing to do with it. Fire is natural. A bunch of little fires isn't better than a big one. We just happened to have built houses where the fires are normally.
One hundred years of bad policy is clear now. Reality is we need to let a lot burn now to make up for lost time. Unfortunately it's hard to do that in a controlled way.

Its cause HD is for real contractors who have to get shit done and dont care what the store looks like, nor need any help from customer service. Lowes is a nice store, but its full of soccer moms and also has 4 isles dedicated to furniture/decor and closet organization.

I shop at both, but all my renovation stuff comes from HD. They have a wider selection at a better price.

Yes I agree that definitely is the difference in business models and I think Depot has improved it's stores over the years.
I also am a little biased because I was a sales rep for valspar and used to setup Lowes stores all over the country.
