I'm currently looking for a front bumper, Does anyone have any pictures of the addicted off-road Plate Bumper with the 1999 grill style? Also do you guys have any recommendations on tube vs Plate bumper?

Pick what you like and go with it. For every 3 guys that tells you to go with tube, there's another 3 guys that will tell you to go plated.

I preferred plated because I don't like seeing what's behind my bumper.

Tube or plate it comes down to what you like or want

There is no real wrong answer.

yes, I've looked at the website, the web, and the forms. I have yet to see that bumper paired with the 99 grill style.

Tube bumpers are tacky, lazy, and don't look good at all. Plate bumpers are more heavy duty (and heavier obviously) but look damn good. Look at 4xinnovations, they have the cheapest priced winch plate bumper and it looks pretty sexy.

When it comes to animal strikes plate wins hands done. Ive got a plate bumper on my tacoma and a tube bumper on my 4runner, the tube bumper bent on its first deer, the plate bumper has hit at least a couple of deers a year 6 years running.

On my old 89 toyota pickup a buck ran into the left rear quarter panel on the bed and ripped off a flare. On my 4runner a turkey was flying and it went straight into the windshield and shattered it. Once 2 large owls were standing on the side of the road so I slowed down just incase one of them decided to fly, which they did straight into the passenger side door.

Edit: ive killed more animals just by going to and from home then going out hunting.

Another edit: almost hit a black bear too.
