What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

depending on what route you want to go , I’ve got my OEM front bumper off my 19 Pro in white with PPF on it and factory Rigids. I’m located in TN. Just throwing it out there.

 

Anyone know if these fit the scs f5?

 

Gen5s/F5s don’t have a lip or edge

for these to clip into. You might be able to modify them and use some double sided tape, but they aren’t going to friction fit and stay put on their own.
To use a cap on these wheels you would have to use adhesive of some kind. These are the only ones I’ve ever seen for sale

I was really excited for them until I realized I would have to remove one cap and install another, every time I rotate tires. I do a rearward cross and keep the spare on the hoist under the bed

 

Yeah, I want one that doesn’t have the grill guard, that’s why I like that one. If I wanted that bar and for it to serve a purpose I’d definitely go a different route.

 

Today is the mounting of an H3R performance extinguisher with a DDI (Desert Does It) underseat mount. Hopefully I never need it.

50k service today. Also replaced the front brake pads and rotors.

I feel like the brakes are softer now and takes MORE force on the pedal to stop. Is that just the breaking in period for new pads and rotors? I did everything right with the brake fluid reservoir while I pushed the brake pistons back into the caliper.

 

Installed the Icon RXT leaf pack and a new Tacoma Beast sticker (hooray for cheap mods)

 

What material pad did you use? Not all pads are equal

 

Just got my RRW-RR7 H -12 offset rims in. Waiting on tires, hopefully ill get the poke im looking for with out having to trim!
