Yeah I wouldn’t chance it. I’d rather have the correct ones. I’m guessing it is a misprint on the site and should be 12-15. At some point I’ll call and find out if they have the inj tube, then I’ll know for sure.

I have mine still. Off a 2014. If I was to guess the miles.... 30k ish? Very few with the SC.

I'd love to part with them.

Sucker runs. The part I was most intimidated by was re-syncing the new @JustDSM flashed ecu. Electronic stuff is my weakest skill for sure lol.

Kind of an odd noise coming from the blower at idle, could just be the rattle described in the OP from the solid coupler?… I’ll post a video in the AM.

Also have a question about how the lower radiator hose is sitting, it’s definitely pushed up against the far driver side edge of the s/c belt tensioner bracket. Normal? I’ll post a picture in the AM as well for y’all to take a look.

It’s definitely close, did you trim the original like the instructions show?

I didn’t - as everything I had was used. It looked like the hose was trimmed before. But I may trim another 1” or 1.5” off the lower end where it connects to the radiator.

Here’s the video of the two noises I hear.

    https://youtube.com/shorts/gIVzUCI0lZQ?feature=share

Number 1 is kind of a gravel/scraping/ rocks in a spinning barrel sound, definitely coming from around the rotor pack or bearings. I point it out with a number one with my hand.

Number 2 is a whining/chirping sound almost like a bunch of crickets. Seems to come from the nose cone area. I point it out with a number two with my hand.

The number 1 sound seems to only be present or notably audible at idle or very low rpm, like if I let off the gas at 25 mph and just coast. I don’t seem to hear it when on moderate to aggressive throttle, or high RPM. Don’t know if that’s because it goes away, or I just can’t hear it over and take an exhaust noises. I don’t have a very loud muffler. It’s a Borla catback (similar sound to the OEM TRD exhaust).

Normals sounds ? Or something to look at?

NOTE: I bought the supercharger used, the guy said he had had it serviced just recently. I opened up the nose cone and put in a solid coupler, and re-greased everything. I did not open up the rotor pack, as spinning the drive pulley felt very smooth.

Did he have a receipt? Even a name of the place that did it? Without proof, I don’t really trust that it was serviced. It doesn’t sound good, but I’m not an expert.

He did not. I just took his word, with a whole shaker of salt.

    SC gear oil?

I did change that myself along with the solid coupler and filled it when the unit was off the truck. I’ll double check it though, make sure it full.

That rattle sounds a little more pronounced that I would like to hear. Any chance the bypass valve adjustment got tweaked in shipping and is now open?

I’ll check that too. I attempted to adjust it per page 1 free “mod” before I put the unit on as well…
Everything that was a cheap easy or free mod that I did before I installed The blower seems to be a candidate for the problem noise

    edit:
I should turn the bypass valve screw “tighter” / in? The thinking being that the rattle sound is the valve just vibrating open/close because it has no tension?

Update, sent SCOL the video and they said it definitely needs a stage 1 rebuild.

looks like I’ll be dropping at UPS tomorrow or Friday.

I did some searching without luck. What is the part number and source for the pulley stud that has failed for a few of you?

I was wheeling in nowhere Wyoming, did a water crossing and took out the alternator. Had to do a quick swap in the woods. Noticed the stud was bent slightly during disassembly. I need an alternator snorkel.

    Gracias

OK, I'm dumb. Lead me to water please. Where to source?
Checked Toyota, doesn't seem like their part #. Tried SCOL, not found. Checked McMasterCarr, no dice.
