Been in the same boat as you, except already sound deadened. I've been looking at the Rockford under seat speaker/amps but have yet to pull the trigger.

Put new Bilstein 4600's on front and rear. I should have done it sooner. It's got that firm ride back.

After a tire rotation on Sunday i picked up a front end wobble. Here i am now having the tires remounted, balancing beads removed and doing a road force balance.
Ive never been more greatful of being mechanically involved my whole life.

I have not heard of balancing beads actually working on many applications.

The reason i went for the beads was that i kept losing the weights causing my to go out of balance, but today during the road force balance they showed me one of the tires was requiring over 6oz of weights to balance. They felt that was the cause of the wobble so that became my spare (I have 5 matching rims and tires). He said the rim looked like it wasn't bent so had to assume it was that one tire. Running General Grabber AT 285/75r16's. Ride home was smooth. See how long before I throw these weights off.

Over the past couple weeks I installed some rough country seat covers. I work at a tire shop so my seats have been taking a beating, I needed something cheap I could throw in the wash when it got too dirty. I also drove up to Atlanta for a vacation with the lady and on the way back I finally put my harbor freight inside track membership to use and picked up the apex badlands winch and a soft shackle for a little over $500. Now I’m researching low profile front bumpers (and saving up money). I’m leaning towards victory 4x4 but I’ve heard some meh things about their QC, anyone have any experience with them?

Weird, I have had balancing beads work in every application I've used/suggested them in.

Installed DS new coilover assembly. After 5 years of Bilstein 5100/ome885 + strut top spacer it was time. New 8112’s going in, did not make any height adjustments out of the box. For reference I’m at about 22.5” from ground to frame rails at the sway bar bracket (see last pic) with 315/70/17 ko2’s. Will do the PS in the next few days. What a difference. What. A. Difference.

I havent bought any Victory4x4 items but I can vouch for the US Offroad as I have their low profile bumper on my truck and love it so far.

Replaced inner and outer tie rods. When I went for an alignment they couldn't get the jam nuts moved enough to get it done. So last night I did the job; outers came off without too many problems, had to use a puller on one side. The jam nuts definitely were an issue; had to use the impact to get them off and ended up cutting the inner shaft on one side as it wouldn't go. :curls: It was challenging getting the inner clamp off the boot; there's not much space to work. Mine were the "one-time" use variety but I was able to just pry the clamp open and reclamp it after with my beer-line clamping tool. Getting the inner tie rod off the steering gear wasn't too bad; again just the lack of space. My new inner rod had a narrower flat area for a wrench so I ended up using a flat wrench from my bicycle tool kit; have some large ones for doing bottom brackets. All in all not too bad, about 3.5 hours. Could have went quicker if the jam nuts weren't jammed and it slowed down when it got dark; lights just don't get where they are needed.;) I ended up using the Duralast products as I have a camping trip happening and didn't have time to order anything else. Seems like an ok set and the outers have a grease fitting. Noticed a small split in a cv boot so I guess that's on my list now too. Neverending story.:alien:IMG_20220907_225902175.jpg IMG_20220908_224901038.jpg

I have heard of them working but out of a couple friends and some other people I know they were in and out within a couple days. I guess it really depends on the tires and all other variables.

Last night I trimmed some plastic.

Then I trimmed more... and a little more... I hope the 33s will clear without much more but we will see. Appointment is at 345 to get them mounted up. :fingerscrossed:

How do you route the lights for the grill? Rather what spot in the fuse box did you use?
