i have the Sitka Ascent Jacket. i couldnt get myself to spend the dough on the pants. i think i would tear the pants quickly. i crawl alot.

i love the Jacket!! it is not particularly warm worn alone. when cold, i wear a syn base layer, and if really cold, another heavier base layer. syn, long sleeve shirt, a fleece camo vest, and then my Ascent jacket.

lowers, i wear a base layer or two, and those Predator green pants. toughest pants ever, and i can sew them, should they rip.

i now have infinate configurstions to address all temps. sometimes the vest goes outside the sitka, if it warms up a bit..

so i like the jacket..is it worth the dough..maybe not. but with my hiking style of hunting, i love the mobility of the jacket, and how i can change it up all day as it warms or cools.

i wouldnt wear the jacket in a tree stand. there are better garments for sitting still.
