Yeah comes with the whole shebang. It makes lights strobe too  - I opted for the one without the Bluetooth shenanigans because I actively did not want them.

Where does it scan to? :|

And it's an extra $10 off. Biggest difference seems to be is no logo. +1 for that.

I have something else I was gonna wire ( bluesea) but this might save a headache. Jared just was selling me on this like yesterday.

Ever have one of those weeks where it's like everything and nothing happened?

I switched cell phone providers which was a fiasco in that it took way too much of my time to get everything straight. I had Sprint / T-Mobile but after the merger and I swapped my SIM card I stopped getting service at work. It was data would be super slow at first then voice stopped working altogether, let alone data. I switched to Verizon because of a few promos they were running, but dealing with Sprint to get the phones unlocked for trade in was like pulling teeth. I think it's a lateral move price-wise but to go from not working or sub 2 MBPS to 100 MBPS at work is pretty killer.

Home Depot's inventory system can pound sand. I'm after a new work bench / rolling tool box for my garage to give me somewhere to work and I really like the Husky ones as we have the at work and they will work perfect for my needs. I don't need a tool truck bench but I also don't want something that looks like I built it myself (my woodworking skills aren't really skills). HD was doing a 0% for 12 month deal so I jumped since we needed a dishwasher anyways. Taunton said they 1 in stock so I went there and struck out. Somerset had 2 listed and same deal. I ordered online, but being impatient sucks.

My cousin passed last year and my uncle is still going through my stuff. He offered me a pick from some of his leftover musical gear so I'm grabbing a Marshall JCM800 4-12 cabinet which is really cool, but I have nothing to power it with. I think I'm going to get a Marshall SC20H which is basically a 20W JCM800 head. It's probably really stupid to spend the money, but I feel like it's too cool to not do. Of course I couldn't find one in stock anywhere to try out, so I'm hoping that the fact it's highly regarded will be enough for me at this point.

Lastly, as I've bored you with, I've been collecting a ton of diecast cars and I've been after one elusive car, a 1/18 AUTOart Bugeye WRX. The first one I bought was actually a white 1/43 scale car , not 1/18 scale. The seller graciously took it back. The second one was a black 1/18 scale that the seller threw in a box and tried to deny the damage was caused by him, had a kid with cancer, etc. The third was a 1/18 silver wagon that showed up missing a headlight that I missed due to an ad that I felt purposely hid the headlight. I ended up getting a spare headlight from AUTOart Spares and painted it to match and it looks at least 90%.

So while I was waiting for the wagon headlight I had a silver 1/18 sedan on my watch list. I got an offer on 8/9 from the seller and I grabbed it and paid. The car didn't ship until 8/15 despite a 3-day handling time and I didn't get tracking. The last day of the delivery window was 8/24. I ended up emailing the seller on 8/24 asking for tracking and got radio silence which is unusual for a seller, especially one with 1,600 positive feedbacks. So on 8/27 I opened an Item Not Received claim which I figured would be a formal eBay request and I again asked for shipping info. More silence. So on 9/5 I was able to engage eBay and I again asked for tracking saying I didn't get it. Within 10 minutes of engaging eBay I got a message from the seller saying he'd be back home from work in two days and he'd give me tracking. So that means I should have had something by Thursday. I figure there's always the chance that I get the car that week. What's wild is 20 minutes later I get an email from eBay saying they're refunding me because he didn't provide tracking. I assumed that maybe I would get tracking from him and that once I received the car I'd simply reach out and try to pay him back for it so in the end he gets money, I get the car. It's now Friday and I have zero communication from him. I noticed that the middle of this week someone gave him negative feedback for not shipping an item and ignoring him. I decided to pull out my inner Karen and left him negative feedback. I didn't rant, I just stated the facts of the transaction and I wasn't pleased. Literally 30 minutes later I get a message (funny how that works, no?) saying that he had his GF ship the car and it never left the post office. He said if I were to delete the negative feedback he would send me the car free of charge. I responded with I cannot delete negative feedback per eBay policy (true story) but I can post a follow-up to my feedback and/or he can make a feedback edit request of me. I said if I receive the car I'd post a positive follow-up and he could submit a feedback change form and I'd do it. I'm curious if he will take me up on it or not. I feel like that will show his actual character. If I change it before I receive it, I have to believe I'll never receive it, but if he is willing to wait, maybe he is a decent guy that had a bad mixup.

I'm just sick of trying to get one of these cars. In good news my Mom got me another display case for my birthday so now for the first time ever I have more case space than I do cars.

Totally relate man, my saying "what a year this week has been". Can relate especially to the phone as my wife had to get a new phone in July since LG phones aren't supported any longer and some features weren't working.

The radio fiasco with her Rav4...touchscreen hasn't worked right in a while (of course she didn't say anything) and the Bluetooth more recently. Ordered a used radio online that was the same # and tossed it in, same issues. Toyota wants $1500 for a new one. God forbid she settle for an aftermarket radio WTF

The case space to spare thing..man, time to buy more!

    Loose nut behind the wheel?

I’m in a Mexican standoff with the eBay seller. He won’t send the car until I revise the feedback and I won’t touch the feedback until he ships the car.

He’s squawking about me not giving him respect, etc. Dude, you failed every single step of the process, I have zero faith you’d actually ship. Against my better judgement (and after my most recent reply of “no, no and no”) I offered an olive branch and said I’d do a feedback addendum prior to shipping saying the seller reached out and wants to fix things.

I expect radio silence. Here’s hoping otherwise.

I have my money back. He was going to trade me the car for free in return for me removing my negative feedback.

I have everything to gain and nothing to lose. He wanted me to remove my negative first and likely wouldn’t ship it. I was willing to compromise and leave a carefully worded addendum to my negative potentially exonerating him assuming I get the car.

I feel like Nic Cage in Gone in 60 Seconds talking about all the Eleanors that didn’t work out.

Yeah I think someone who didn't pony up like they did has zero room to speak of respect.

Was just watching that flick yesterday..still holds up
