Base ELM 2022 MT was $44,325
Base SO 2022 MT is $46,685 + $425 for the paint. So $2,785 increase.

Also, metallic black appears to have been replaced with plain black.

They actually made less Pro's in white for the 2015 model year than inferno.

I think I must have been looking at 21 bold sheet. in that case, not a bad increase at all considering inflation.

yeah I’m honestly shocked it was only $100. The jump from 21 to 22 was not justified by an extra .5 inch in height and a stamped bedside lol

I wonder if it's the same color just different name. I got a 2023 "white" DCSB on order.

Kinda hoping it's a new color, I'm slightly worried about all the problems Super White had

Jeez.... crazy the price on these tacomas. 60k for a used pro....I know mine is just an offroad, but so glad I bought in late 2020 just before this craziness and bought my taco for 34k plus ttt. If I were in the market today, I don't think I would be buying one anytime soon! I bought a new OR taco in aug 2020 and a new 2021 SE camry for the old lady in aug 2021 and my purchase price combined for the 2 before ttt was just shy of 59k. Crazy days for sure.

That Lime colour would look really good with colour-matched bumpers and flairs, lime painted wheels, a lime leather interior, lime dashboard trim, green LED lights, and a slight lime-green tint on all the windows, and a matching lime ball-cap and lime tint Oakleys.

Looks like the Trail gets a $400 price bump for '23. Bold strategy on what was already a fairly questionable value proposition over the OR.

The crazy resale is partly why I just said F it and went for a Pro. When you think about it, if you keep vehicles 3-5 years at most, a Pro may even be cheaper to own than an OR given depreciation or lack there of.

This is accurate and even can be profitable in this market. I drove 45k miles and 2.5 years before trading my 2020 OR for only $600 less than what I paid for it new. Crazy times. I could probably turn around and flip my 2022 LR OR for a $10k profit right now if I wanted to.

I'll bet it's a whole new paint formula whether or not the color is similar or the same.

I sure hope but I've read the paint code is the same as the super white.

I believe the offroad always came with the chrome bumper. With the addition of the cheapest tech package, the bumpers got color coded. I know for a fact that's the ways it was in 2020 when I bought mine.

So is there anything different between a 22 and a 23 besides color choices?

Nope, some new packages (chrome and SX with double cab, etc), few minor little tweaks, usual Toyota, this is supposedly the last year of this generation with the 2024 all new (mule running around currently) on the TNGA-F platform and the most likely 4 cyl turbo powertrain, you dont want turbos or the likely mini tundra look, this gonna be your last year.
