What exactly are looking for? Road noise, how well the tread wears and what type of 28 are you talking about? Mud terrain all terrain?

i have 285/50/20 on my truck (nissan titan) and the ride is considerably harsher than the stock tires were (265/65/18). however, the perfomance gains far outweigh any harshness in ride quality :)

so, generally, lower profile tires = better handling, but harsher ride :)
