    I have a 2023 Limited arriving November, and it has all the features I’ve grown accustomed to. Most importantly blind spot monitor BSM, rear cross traffic alert RCTA, and rear parking assist sensors.

    This will be my sixth Tacoma plus a Tundra, Supra, Van, 80s Corolla SR5, and my first Toyota truck was a Corona Truck.

    Dealer installed options I’m getting are running boards and catalytic converter shield.

    I'm 67 so the lane departure alert is always on. The auto high beams are nearly always on. The headlights turn themselves off (which I always think I did...)

    I do miss the driver's side grab handle.

    The only somewhat age related Mod for me was a Pro Grille. The 2016 TRD chrome grille reminded me of my younger days when I put Cragar Mag wheels on all my muscle cars.

    I agree being 70 now, why toyota didn't install some sort of driver side grab handle i can't figure that one out. I had predator type side steps, but they got so dangerous stepping on them after a lot of freezing rain during the winter season i just removed them.
    As far as the safety crap, i turned that chit off. Never had an accident in over 50 years on the road, don't need it now. Its for drivers that can't drive, not being alert whats going on around them.

    At 67 time is of the essence so I moved my deposit from a Silver 2023 Limited DC LB due in mid November, to a "in transit" SR5 DC LB arriving late September/early October.

    The SR5 has only one package - Dynamic Navigation - so it wonʻt be too nice too get dirty like the Limited would have been, but not as "off-roady" as the Off Road I was originally looking for.

    Itʻs Blue Crush Metallic with Cement Gray Fabric interior and 16-in. dark gray alloy wheels. Hope itʻs as sharp looking in person as it looks in the brochure.

    At $39,978 itʻs nicer on the budget too! Still planning on a CAT shield and a tonneau cover.

    Mods on my ‘19 Sport 4x4. Age related? I don’t know. ‍

    ARE Mx topper - I’d like to keep my camping stuff, mine.
    OEM Predator side steps- 5’ wife requested them.
    OEM bedmat- stops stuff from sliding.
    BFG All Terrains- stock Toyos just not enough.
    4Runner Pro rims- because I didn’t like looks of stock Sport rims.
    Yakima roof rack- my bikes and kayaks often travel with me.
    Covercraft Tactical Ballistic seat covers- wet, sandy dog makes mess of truck.
    OEM ribbed rubber floor mats- owner makes mess of truck.
    Prodigy electric brake controller- I tow multiple trailers from boats to rvs.

    The rear cross traffic alert has saved me many times from backing into pedestrians walking through the parking lot. I'm 70 so my head don't swivel like it used to.
