@Joza what offset are those RRWs? I had some -12 ones but ended up selling them before I ever mounted them. I am wondering if 0 offset and 285s will clear the 2022 Pro UCAs. I need some 285s in my life...

Question for lime people.

I’m waiting for my truck still but got this photo from a dealer in San Antonio that shows “TRD PRO” in green (cut-out) on the hood decal. But all the other pics I see have it blacked out. Does it come two ways?

 

@TacoRancher can't say I've ever seen it blacked out. My hood looks like the picture you posted.

I had to laugh. My wife's father went on and on and on about how "ugly" the color is. I was polite and didn't attack back - he's an old man. LOL. Has anyone else gotten the business over the color? My wife LOVES the color - in fact, she probably loves it more than me. But then again she also will only drive manual transmissions -- so she's pretty awesome.

 

Bro, I don’t even have my ELM yet and I’ve been trolled here on TW over the color, my coworkers give me shit, and my wife and daughter hate it. About 20% of the people though absolutely love it. It’s like driving a brightly colored Ferrari — it’s just flamboyant and ridiculous. You just have to be invested in the color and tell everyone to suck it.

The only real issue is resale and that is mitigated by the fact it’s a PRO. I also truly believe the color will become less controversial over time despite all the people on TW who say it’s a shit color that will never become desirable.

 

I plan to keep it until it turns to rust, so I don't care about resale. OTOH, I live in S. Florida and these people can't drive at all... so I love having a bright color.

Word is they are going to offer the color in other trims soon. So that might be interesting.

 

I will also say, it fucking grows on you. And I think it’s way better than solar octane. It looks great on trails amongst the trees, etc., love how it changes color, and love how ridiculous it is.
