Believe it's a 14mm. I'm studying up and trying to find one at a scrap yard to change mine out too. Do post up your results and good luck.

It could probably be 3D printed. I've printed blanks for the ones to the left of the steering wheel with success.

I get some of that thud you speak of. I've wondered if its related to this mount or not, too. Kind of a weird issue.

Day 4 - Got a late start. Pulled the little panels off under the grille to sand and paint. Needs another coat before install.

Took a paint pen and touched up all the rock chips on the hood and scratches on the front fenders.

Installed the new corner lights. Clay barred the hood and front fenders and got two coats of wax on the passenger fender. Stopped for the day, will pick back up on the exterior detailing tomorrow.

100% complete, outside of seeing o'dude who got the rear back support out and made a tool holder for it, so now maybe I'm only 50% complete, respectively.

I modeled it an put in on shapeways a while back: https://www.shapeways.com/product/CDYU6MBS2/98-04-toyota-tacoma-airbag-switch-blank
    I also made a version with a 25mm ball on it: https://www.shapeways.com/product/3...a-25mm-ball-mount?optionId=112094670&li=shops

I never put the blank on thingiverse, but the mounting piece for this one is almost the same but with holes in it: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4926475

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
We made it off the trail safe.

Words of wisdom. If you're going to do Dusy you'd better bring a bad assed lunch pail. That thing is work. She demands payment from all who enter.

We were there 5 days. Me and one other member of our other group made it till today without issue... the others suffered from broken leaf springs, fuel spark issues, circuit breaker issues. One of our guys layed his rig over.

I was thinking I was good... till about 4 miles till the end... Dusy said "It's your turn bitch"... broke a CV... then at the top of the gatekeeper going out Kaiser side, I broke another CV, popped a bead, and almost layed my truck over.

The other guy... on the way home, the wind sucked his $500 prescription sunglasses off his dashboard... She had to be paid.

Anyway... you'd better watch the videos

Hit a snag yesterday in the exterior detailing and glad I stopped at just the hood and front fenders.

The truck sat for 7 months at a family member’s house while we were looking for a new house last year. The paint had little black spots from sitting under a tree that wouldn’t wash off. I had clay barred and waxed this truck in the past and it was great at taking the imperfections out of the paint so I assumed it would do the same…and it did but it left all kinds of swirls and looks terrible.

There’s a local detailing shop that says they can correct what I did that I’ll be taking it to Monday. Live and learn I guess.

Was way too exhausted to unpack last night. Really running slow as hell this morning too... lol

Started unpacking but then I got side tracked. Started taking a look, at some of the stories the truck has to tell after the last adventure.

Anyone else running an oil catch can? This is the first time harvesting what was captured in mine and wondering if this is fairly typical.

It looks like less than an ounce of oil has been captured in about 3,500 miles.

I ran one when I had my S/C but I took both of them off when I sold it. I didn't get as much as I thought it would.

Having never run one before, I was a little surprised at how much there was given the number of miles. I guess I wasn't sure if I should be concerned at the amount it caught.

Yea I run one on my 3rz and it definitely picks up some oil. I change it about every other oil change or so and it has a good amount in it usually.
