Relentless Fab hybrid bumper, 2.5” Dobinsons IMS lift, RCI skids and sliders, block heater. Painted FJ Steelies. Was trying to keep it stock, now slowly building for the Wisconsin trails.
Do people actually use the oil filter access panel? I’ve been dropping the skid mainly because I don’t want the oil to splash around inside it.
Also I opted for aluminum skids so dropping it isn’t an issue

Oh there will be some mods all right
I have the oil change kit from Amazon so I drain the housing with the tube going straight to waste oil pan and then a valvomax to drain the oil pan so everything is quick and mostly mess free.

Same here, even with the access panels it's easier to just drop the skid. If I don't it always turns into a mess by the drain plug. And as @rubbersidedown mentioned it also gives me a chance to look everything under the engine over.

Well, that took way longer than I expected it to. Aside from 3 interruptions from work (I hate being on call) I found 2 mounting holes at the back of the front plate could have used another millimeter or two of wiggle room. Slightly cross threaded 2 OEM bolts before backing them out and removing the plate to file the holes a bit. I'll get replacement bolts when I do my next oil change.

These things were heavy! Laying on my back, holding them up and trying to get the bolts in was a good workout! Other than the above mentioned hole issue, they are super solid and look great.

I especially like that the third plate covers the exhaust cross over.
