Ohhhhh…. I really need to consider it this time… my fronts starting to squeak and I can’t figure out what it is yet. I’ve got SPC uppers but keep them greased. Sounds like metal on metal and is in the front. I’ve tested driving at odd angles to only have one corner move. Sprayed lube on everything up there but the radiator bushing and can still hear that squeak.

It is likely the bushings. Just ridiculous.

If it helps any, you could buy mine and I could bounce to the next buy?

    Crap.

Other than disassembling the rear interior, the body mounts went great. But . . .

I broke a wire broke off at the front left ABS connector. I didn't see the bracket on the coilover support and only unfastened the ones on the UCA, which was of no help.

I disassembled the connector and soldered the wire. I'm getting a lower resistance measurement on the front left harness compared to the right side which doesn't have an error. 0.347MOhm compared to 0.366MOhm. The wheel sensor side of the connection has the mounting stud, so the vehicle side harness should not have been under any stress and gets reasonable voltage and resistance values. The CEL will not clear, so it is a consistent fault. FML.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

    Oh boy!

I made a thread in the main section also. I cannot decipher the SM section on the speed sensors.

The mounts feel great though on a short drive.

And to answer my original question in this thread, the stock mount plates cannot be reused since that are molded into the body mounts.

You probably have another problem to chase down, that isn't a huge difference in resistance.

That is my big worry. Not sure where to start looking though.

I saw a vid that said it should see an AC voltage when spinning the hub. But I'm not seeing that on either side.

After a couple longer drives, I can say that there is a more connected feeling overall. Definitely worth it, minus my ABS stupidity. I will post pics in a bit, but just removing the connectors from the supports without unplugging them should be sufficient.

For installation, a 14mm ratcheting wrench is key. For ACLB folks, just removing the rear seat bottoms is all that is needed. There is a cover plate over the rear mounts held on by two 10mm screws.

I lubed the mounts, sleeves, and washers with marine grease just in case.

    You're welcome!

Was just out on the highway. Sooo nice! A bit more communicated, but not harsh at all. I'll stand by the more connected description.

Thanks, @Despized . I'm very glad that we got to chat back in April.

Pics of the ABS harness connector.

    Left Side:

There is enough slack after just removing the connector from the support and slipping it down past the bracket.

    PXL_20220911_154047616.NIGHT.jpg

    Right Side:

Removing the connector from the bracket and removing the harness support from the coilover mount (10mm) is recommended. You'll have to feel for the screw.

Had to replace our water supply line to the house so I’m definitely out. Good luck to those getting in on the group buy!
