Favorite Whiskey?

That SB Barrel Proof I cracked the other day went immediately to my top 5. Completely flipped my perception of Jack Dannel's.

 

That’s bananas.

 

Elijah Craig toasted barrel overlooking big bear lake. Not a bad afternoon.

 

Killed off the last of two bottles this weekend. Now to start scoping out the next bottle.

 

I’m enjoying Mitchter’s. It could become a regular.

 

First time for me. Seen it a lot on here and thought I'd try.

Its surprisingly smooth for 120 proof. Ive always stuck to regular knobb creek but this will be in the rotation from now on

 

Its been a while since I've looked in on this thread..yall have some mighty fine whiskeys..... thought I'd post my buddies liquor collection which is 70% bourbon... I have had the great privilege of adding to it over the years and also the great privilege of sampling bourbon I would never had the chance too... today I'm having my favorite which I usually hide in the back so no one sees it...

You should try their American Whiskey. I think it's better than the bourbon

I haven’t taken the time to scroll through all 931 pages of this thread but if no one has brought up angels envy that stuff is unreal. Especially the rye

 

Drinking JD SiB barrel tonight, man I taste caramelized bananas! Even the wine loving gf loved it!
It's crazy how you drink one thing, then switch to a different whiskey, how much the first whiskey affects the flavor of the second.
After switching to EW BiB, it now tastes like cherries. Lol

 

Just put in my pre-order for the
“Flaviar's Whiskey Advent Calendar”
Has anybody tried it? Thought it would be kind of fun to check it out, it’s something different…

 

I took a look at the website, how do you know what you’re drinking? The “vials” don’t appear to be labeled, maybe it’s blind tasting with a list you get to reveal on Christmas? Interesting concept.
