My bmw has that on the from axle.. sometimes I cheat and tighten the pinch bolts on the allen key side, then loosen the normal bolt on the other side, loosen the pinch bolt, and remove it all then without pulling out my allen key tool thingy.

Like Chuck said, they make a 4 way one. This is what I have, but generic ones are like $9 on Amazon.

3/4 inch will also work. Also go to hardware store and buy a bolt with 19mm head and 2 nuts to thread onto it. Put one out on part way then use other nut as a jam nut and you can use that with a 19mm socket to create a hex wrench.

Tried to take a video of my ride with a RC airplane camera that I found. Turns out you gotta actually hit record after turning it it on, so theres that..

I put it under the headlights, so the next time if I remember, then I can turn it on, and get some video.

there isn’t a nut on the other side? My drz has that on one side but a nut on the other. I thought I would need it to tighten up the Allen side but because of the tightening it’s not needed

i just loosen the nut and the pinch bolts and rubber mallet the axle out.

No, although I did triple check because that is something I'd overlook. It is threaded into the other fork...

Saw your post and was like "WTHeck is he talking about???" Went back and looked... hilarious!

My 19mm tool was waiting for me when I got home so I now have fresh fork oil! Much easier than I anticipated and the old stuff looked pretty good for being 10k miles and 15 years old. Was also able to significantly reduce the stiction and polish away some very tiny rust. Very happy!

Next is getting rid of the AIS clutter and, even though the old tires are holding up nicely, I'll have much more peace of mind with the new ones on...

I wish I had more space away from my neighbors. I would love to have a place I could practice drills at for an hour at any given moment.
