I finally found a set of 285/70/17 duratracs, a friend of a friend works at a tire place and his supplier had them in stock. Put them on the sequoia/tundra wheels I got off of craigslist a few weeks ago.

    I love the look now.

I've got 5100's set at 2.5 in the front with 2" aal in the back. (old wheels and tires are in the bed so it's sagging a little bit.)

I need to do a little trimming tonight to alleviate the rubbing at full lock.

The old wheels and tires are for sale now. 1st gen "swirly" wheels with 265/75/16 duratracs with about 27k miles on the tires.

They're 4.5" backspacing. No need for spacers :D

Looks real nice! Only color Taco silver rims look nice on or belong on. Matte black those rims out and they will be sexy, sexy.

That looks really nice. I was looking for a set of those wheels in the Hyper silver finish for my truck, but didn't have much luck.

I gave up on the hypersilver.

Much thanks to the two guys on here who both PM'ed me a new atlanta craigslist post they saw with these wheels for sale. I ended up getting them for $150.

yea, it looks good, but bigger tires suck more gas, lower gas mileage, more engine power to pull the bigger wheels, and did you see how quickly the price of gasoline went up today?
$4 gasoline is already set in stone this summer, with $5 to $7 gasoline by the end of 2012
I am doing everything to save for the coming "The Greatest Depression Ever", I am even thinking about cutting a hole in the floor of my Tacoma to save on gas.

No spacers. Only rubbing on fender plastic which i'm planning on trimming tonight.

I'm aware of all of that. I'm going from 265/75/16's so I will probably only lose 1-2 mpg over what I already lost. It's a truck, I don't really care about gas mileage. Plus I'm getting a company car sometime within the next year so my fuel costs will drop 90%

    No TSB

A Companty car! I am a state government employee and I never get good benifits like that! Only got a 3% pay raise last year and now they want us to pay 5% of our health insurance, with the cost of gas and food up I don't know what I am going to do! I don't have any skills for any type of career working in the private sector but I do make a lot of money for doing nothing and knowing nothing, the only thing left is to cut my costs.
