Hopefully it's just a American thing. All the Canadian ones I've seen are color coded

I'm thinking the Tacoma will hand around for 1 more year, 4R is up first because they also had their retro commemorative edition just now and its older. Taco can wait one more year for Toyota to milk a commemorative edition first.

It’s the last year of the 3rd gen. That’s already confirmed.

It's been confirmed by multiple inside sources, the mule has been running around for over 6 months now, pending supply constraints, etc. It'll be a MY 2024, maybe not till late Dec 2023 / Jan 2024 much like the new Tundra release was, 2020 was the midcycle refresh, the TNGA-F platform is already there and components to underpin the truck shared with the Tundra, we saw the new highlander turbo 4 engine, the writing is on the wall my friend. Hopefully it looks better than the new Tundra.

All Canadian OR double cab trucks don't have chrome, but we also don't have the true base OR options up here either. Our "base" has more stuff on it that the American trucks. But, here we can't get things like LED headlights on OR or Sport like they can in USA. I wonder who makes these package decisions and why.

Was there a price increase? Looks like basically the same price as my 2021.

    Electric lime is hideous. :D

I don't know if I like TNGA-F. Looking at the frame on the new Tundra. I don't know if I like the way it's stamped? I don't know what the 2nd gen Tundra frame looks like to make a good comparison, but it probably don't look like the 3ref gen Tundra frame. I wonder how it compares visually to the domestic 1/2 tons.

I told wife I wanted the new tundra then it came out and I was still on the fence, then I sat in one, drove it and seeing all the QC issues no thanks. I worry for the next gen Tacoma too.

as my niece would say, don’t yuck my yum

I really like the lime green; but I’m also a Cowboys fan so I understand love/hate dichotomies like this one.

Interesting, the 22MY limited MSRP was $42,980.
Showing the 23MY limited MSRP is $40,005.

I think the website prices might be wrong. There have been errors in the past at model year launch.

Kudos to Toyota if they have really kept the prices down on purpose.
