Turkey hunting and BS welcome!

Sitting in my living room next to the window and I can hear gobbling and hen yelps . I’ve been done hunting for about a week now . I was not hearing any gobbling oh well . I hunted 19 mornings this season . Got the one Jake . Tough season . Leaving for Bermuda tomorrow morning

 

Season ended here two weeks ago. Was hoping to get a second bird but o well. Time to start gearing up for bow season.

Do You have Fall turkey season?

 

We do but I’ve never hunted turkey in the fall . Archery deer . But I’m going to bring a call with me from now on !

 

Im guessing we have a young pair of turkeys here they have 3 baby turks this year. Looks like a jake and hen. They are mad i dont have corn out for them.. gotta restock today

 

Most of the birds in town have had double clutches. I saw 3 hens with 9 small but full size birds and 16 grouse size birds last week.

Feather details, helps break up light and looks a little more realistic. Should be painting soon. Amateur but do a little taxidermy work too.

Looks like xps foam board sheets glued together maybe

 

Yes, gorilla glue, foam board and acrylic tile adhesive. Can't bounce it around like a basketball but I've toted one for a 140 mile turkey season without more than a few cracks.
