Scangauge2. I was watching IAT's and coolant. IAT was quite hot as well, but I don't remember those.

we drive my wifes accord almost everywhere we go. truck is just to take the pups out to the lake or river so they can run around and cool off whenever......ehh so much sand on the back seats. lol

My 07 sport struggles in extreme heat. If you are at low rpm (off roading) in 114 with the windows up running AC its not ideal. But if your on the highway it works fine. I hate the power drain the AC puts on my truck. Going uphill in South Dakota or Wyoming in 114 you MUST roll down windows and shut off the AC.. Unless you just like running your truck hard and lose.

My advise is to offroad with AC off windows down. Check out Dometic cooler too... what a life changer to have actual real cooling, not melting ice...

Edit: Coolant like anything else is temperature rated. If you are really interested in solving this, perhaps try to find a Ccoolant with a higher performance envelope.

I spent last weekend in PA Charlie, Pottstown specifically as there was this VW/Audi show that I wanted to check out. This was my rental at PHL, a free upgrade as they didn't have no compact cars available :D fully loaded TRD Off Road T4R, and the silver one is my cousin's SR5. Thing was great but the wifey has been bugging me all week to get one which means I'll probably get rid of 1 or 2 Tacos:duel:

    IMG_6431.jpg

I was supposed to become a PA resident now in September but ended up turning down the job offer; not even a week later I fly there, and now I'm hurting :annoyed:I'll keep you in the loop if I end up moving there, from what I saw Bucks isn't even that far, the job was in Franconia/ King of Prussia

Anyway, here's a very special Volkswagen, the a59

My first time through death valley was in this bastard, hauling geologic samples (re: a bunch of heavy rocks) back from Yuba City.

    Yuba City Chase 141.jpg

On the climb back out of the valley you run into this sign:

    upload_2022-9-10_9-17-48.jpg

It wasn't quite 119 that day, but it was over 100. I thought to myself "fuck right off with that," kept the AC on high and the hammer dropped. Never an issue.

Years later I towed my camper through there with the Tacoma. Also full send, AC and rock and roll both blasting on full.

    20190524_150135.jpg

If I can do that, Charlie's Tacoma with it's tiny amount of oil burn wouldn't have any issues either.

116 degrees here in the hell hole, never overheated and the AC keeps me nice and cool.

    @wilcam47

Also, I'm surprised that the Queen of England is getting her final ride in a Mercedes-Benz, which is clearly a German car; Princess Diana got shit in the early 1990s for buying a Mercedes SL Roadster (she may have actually leased it), again because a Benz is a German car and Diana represents the British royal family. She ended up giving the Mercedes back, but in 1994 she bought an Audi convertible that I believe she had until she died. She also had at least two Ford Escorts in the 1980s, so I don't know where the outrage was with regards to those three vehicles, but she was heavily criticized for not getting a British-made vehicle instead of the Mercedes.

It was a 1991 or 1992 Mercedes 500SL, which it would seem she did actually own, and again she got raked over the coals for not buying a British car...

    Collection 4 - Mercedes-Benz 500 SL.

The very first time I saw a Wienermobile on the road was in about 1994 or 1995, when my dad I went to the Philly airport to pick up my grandparents. It had to have been 1994 or possibly 1993, because my grandparents lived in Arizona from the early 1980s until 1994, when they bought a house in Pennsylvania and moved here. It was definitely no earlier than June 1993, because we were in my dad's 1993 Chevy Blazer. Anyway, why else would my grandparents have been flying into Philly if they weren't still in Arizona?!?!

What shocked me was that the Wienermobile was in the area for dropping off and picking up people; I'm guessing the Hotdogger was picking up an Oscar Meyer executive or something. I've seen Wienermobiles on the road all over America in the last thirty years, but I never saw one up close and personal until yesterday afternoon at a car show...
