Call or email superchargersonline, that is who magnuson will direct you to. You need this part circled in red. Just make sure you inform them it’s for a 05-15 tacoma supercharger.

There's been a lot of inquiry this year alone regarding the part number for the pulley retention studs. Because of that I have added a quick reference to it on page 1 right after the tensioner section.

    I hope this helps!

Not taco related but oil related. Any of you guys notice increase engine noises/ticks (ie VVt) with Mobil one? Used the correct weight oil on my GX 460 and now it’s noisier right after the change. Found a few threads on tundra with this issue as well. Never had a problem with the taco and Mobil one (maybe I wasn’t paying attention)

Boost, armor, lights, big tires, no savings.
From my Subie days, Mobil 1 was known to be too thin, it was recommended to use the Shell Rotella T6 which is heavier than the factory spec.

It has to be multi-purpose. Diesel and Truck/car. It will have a little badge on there if it is.

As long as it's the correct weight for your ambient temperature and planned type of driving such as shorter or longer interval changes, I wouldn't worry about a little noisier power train. I've done more than several Blackstone oil analysis on my own (includes expensive motul/Neo to cheap Wally world oil) and have hardly found much of a significant difference because oil qualities are so high in today's market. If it bothers you that much, you can change but would have to flush it out and wait until the noise subsides with the next oil. At least IMO, it's not right away.

It is have a SI or CI on the back in the API seal. As long as it has the SI (spark ignition) you're good.
    Fyi CI (compression ignition)

    Sorry, SN or CN
The S and C are spark and compressionthe N is grade quality.

    The more you know.

It will be rate for one , the other or both. As long as it has a rating for gasoline engine in it, I would say feel comfortable to use it.
Most likely the diesel engine oils will have more pink and phosphorus based on the way that the flat tap designs of the camshafts are and reduced emissions standards then gasoline engines.

Maybe I just misread your statement.

I just run Valvoline dino oil and let the cards fall where they may. Especially since these engines were built to run standard regular grade stuff. :notsure:

I refuse to use Mobil, however.

Ok, this sounds similar to what I got going on.. any updates on resolving this? If I stick between 0 and around 50% throttle position I generally don’t have much of an issue, but between 50 and 100% power isn’t consistent, sometimes I get a DRASTIC cut. Is this familiar at all?

Nah, walbro 255. 43-47 PSI at the end of the fuel rail no matter what.

That's either a spark or fueling issue. If you are capable of data logging, that would be incredibly helpful.

Capable and will be getting on that now that I’ve been through enough to start understanding what’s what.. things were certainly easier in the days before EFI, stinkier but easier.

    thx for the feedback man

EFI is incredibly easy. I do understand the polarizing differences between the two though and how you would prefer one over the other.

If you think this is difficult, try diagnosing and tuning on DI cars and trucks. It's annoying.

Interesting.. always wondered why they didn’t do that before, high pressure and apparently complex models to get it right.

It is difficult, but only because I’m still on the learning curve and I’m still at the mercy of what the ems is deciding (which is probably a very good thing for both performance and longevity) instead of manually controlling fuel air timing and spark. Will be back with some data when possible.

Above all, cool to learn with awesome peeps!
