Maybe. I think its just a lot of FOMO for tomorrows print.

One good print (last month) is fine but means nothing. Two in a row will be mistaken by ADD-riddled under-40s as "inflation's over, load up", which will be prime pickins' for big/smart/corrupt money.

If its a good print, couple weeks of harvesting idiots and then we'll see.

 

There's still PPI WED. Then retail, core retail sales and unemployment THU. Tomorrow will set the tone but those others will further it.

Correct. I think most or all of it comes in at or better than expected.

That's going to be a tail effect of decreased fuel prices. I think it's going to be over-interpreted as "we're out of the woods" by many.

 

Yes there’s a podcast I listen to put out by a local liquor store that precisely described this fingerprinting of alcohol. They said the bottle transparency is second to none on this. No mysterious distilled in Indiana, aged in Penn… cold filtered in Ohio..,blended in Michigan.

 

I have 3 bottles from 3 different batches. 1021, 0222, and 0621.

Ive only been in to the 1021 so far. Blends are similar in age and composition so time will tell. But it's a fun little exploration to do.

 

Mine is also 1021. Fine at $22

 

I paid $30 (state controlled liquor sales here, the price is the price). It won't beat WT101 or Buffalo Trace at the $25-$30 price point, but nothing will really.
