Selling a custom slide out kitchen made for the Smartcap. Has the water faucet perfectly placed for the Smartcap slide window on Pass side... Located in Denver. Figured I would share here in case someone was interested

 

I'm just discovering these caps- why does the RSI web page not have the version with the small sliding window anymore?

 

Here's the description of the EVO Sport: Gullwing Side Doors w/Flush-Bonded Slider Windows

 

It's in the small print but not in the main photo with the toyota tundra, and the sliding window doesn't get a featured call-out further down the page, like the other main features.

They are revamping their website, I would not put too much thought into it right now. They are NOT discontinuing the sliding window.

 

Received my EVOa from @Mike's Custom Toys last week and got the cap and tent (plus air bags) installed today. Looks amazing, can't wait to test it out this weekend!

Which panels, the Molle ones? If so, they came installed from the factory. They're standard on the adventure series version of the SmartCap.

 

Yes the Molle. I have the sport and was not aware that these came stock on adventure series. Thanks.

 

I got quite a conundrum on my hands.. Was driving up cottonwood pass when a rock hit my side glass panel completely shattering it

Does anyone know if i am able to buy a new right side panel anywhere by itself? or even the specs of the glass panel to bring to a glass shop to cut me a new one? i use this topper almost daily, now i have a giant hole where i like to lock up my goodies!!

 

A glass shop should be able to measure the other side and cut a piece of glass for you.

As much as I like the sliding window, I have thought of going this route for less water intrusion.

 

yeah it will most likely be the route i will take. Of course this happens 5 days before i move half way across the country -.-

@Mike's Custom Toys Any update on the latches since the trip to the factory?

 

Have not been back yet. My trip has been pushed back a couple weeks. We are attending the https://panhandleoverlandrally.com/ before going back to Texas

 

We've been told end of year for the upgraded latches. Details are somewhat sparse on availability and availability has changed a number of times. But having seen them in person, they'll be worth the wait.
