Nah I cleaned the entire truck out pulled seats and everything to clean it fully so nothing was left in it. My guess is I left it on the snorkel and forgot about it from a night of drinking haha it wouldn’t be the first time I did that

 

Getting mine done Wednesday. Replaced a part on my BCs. Have to schedule like a month out with Revline, so I'm working from home tomorrow.

Suspension sounds normal now! Got the wheels washed and hub centric rings on too while @Slashaar was working on replacing those pillowball bearing plates for me. Alignment is noticeably out, but real mild. Just scheduled it because good practice

 

ah thats good i remember you talking about the noise what did it end up being? very nice keeping those white wheels clean must be a pain haha. wait you never had hub centric rings? thats normally highly recommended for cars trucks you can usually ignore it if the bore is the same but sometimes you need em as well. pillow ball bearing plates? what that? ah thats not to bad then lol i drove the ranger a tiny bit with its alignment being out but it was only in town so nothing to bad. thats always good to get an alignment done so ye

I hadn't gotten around to hub centric rings because I'm a heathen. I didn't know they existed until the wheels had been on my car for a bit. Ordered them a while ago and never slapped em on. The noise was the pillowball bearing. It's the joint between the strut assembly and the top-hat where it mounts to the car. The white wheels are usually not clean. Think of a black and white vehicle; you always know black is dirty, but white you know it's dirty, but you don't realize how dirty until everything's clean.

Super easy replacement. Everything is so easy when shit isn't rusty, lol. Most annoying thing is needing another alignment. That's what I get for buying used suspension

 

yuup i learned that the hard way with my form and function coilovers one of them blew out but hey 300 bucks is cheap haha

and maaaan working on non rusty stuff is great! i did the work on the ranger with patrick this weekend and we got the front coilovers in the truck and tires mounted back in 2.5 hours! now the rears that was a different story... same with those damn intrusion bars!!!!

 

Rust is always our main barrier as far as getting work done in a timely manner. I paid $700 + $37 in shipping for mine with 10k on them. New they're like $1,100 and they had a 3-4 month wait at the time, so I figured I'd give it a shot.

ya.. its just a lot of things piled up tbh i pushed my self to much wrenching over the weekend so my entire left side is throbbing still... i feel bloated? maybe idk i just overall dont feel that great and im just so damn tired from lack of sleep i just wanna go home and go to bed but had to come into work since im taking friday and monday off for a trip this weekend....

 

Must have been beer involved, 2.5 hours for non rusty front coilovers is a long time lol
