Should've won that game and have to clean up a lot of stuff of course but I'm still thrilled to have a quarterback that can move the ball. Feels like forever where a win came only from the run game and defense. Any game they allowed 2 touchdowns was an automatic loss. First game? I'm willing to watch and see what happens.

 

Agree to disagree I suppose. I had higher expectations considering they were up against a Geno Smith-led offense. Gregory and Chubb didn't have their names called once tonight from what I did watch (pretty much missed the second half, though, so that's not much).
Hackett needs to clean up the play calling, too, but gets a pass for his first game at the helm.

 

Minus a couple of disastrous red zone blunders, they had 14 more points on the board and it's a whole different game.
I'm still optimistic and you gotta believe it's a step in the right direction no?

 

It absolutely is. Just have to wait and see how everyone responds at home on Sunday.
