Just brought ours home Wednesday night, lovely color!

 

It's a colour than has to be experienced to be appreciated. I was in serious doubt of it until I saw what different light conditions do to the appearance of it. Under a full bright moon, WCP looks its best.

 

No doubt! I was convinced I wanted Lunar Rock and didn’t want any other options. I was shocked when we went to the dealer and found out they not only had a WCP on the way, but that it was also a long bed which is what we were wanting. I’d look for months for one and couldn’t find one with that combo anywhere local.

 

I kind of feel that shiney primer (LR) is a bit overrated. Especially when Kia paints their minivan the same colour.

I wanted wither LR or AG. But my options where black, silver, dark blue or white. Dealer didn't know it was WCP until it arrived.

Very, very nice. I settled for a short bed. Color is something I love more and more as I drive this truck.
LR was my 1st choice, but it looks so bland next to WCP now.
Look at it at sunset. Pink sparkles everywhere.

 

This must be a really rare color as the updates in this thread are pretty slim. I had a lunar rock sport 6MT on order with a bunch of factory installed accessories I didn't really want that is still a month out. So I was calling some other dealers around my area trying to find one cheaper and without the extra accessories I didn't want and happened to find a dealer that said they had a wind chill pearl in a 6MT. Asked about the accessories and no extra overpriced nonsense which is great. No market adjustment either and it is $3,250 cheaper than the lunar I planned on getting. So I have let go of my lunar order and secured that wind chill order.

TL;DR, Gave up my lunar order and secured a 6MT wind chill. looking forward to getting the truck!!

 

Wouldn't call WCP rare as much as I would just uncommon. For the Tacoma, Toyota only offers it on the Sport and Limited. Most people get TRDOR, or SR5s. At least in my area.

 

I go pick up my WCP Limited today. So excited!

 

I live in a small town and bought my TRD Sport DCLB in WCP about a month ago. At least according to this dealership it was the first one they’d ever seen with both that color and cab configuration, so it’s definitely on the rarer side of things. Who knows if what they said was actually true or not, though. Lol. It’s nice knowing that you have a color not many others do, makes you stand out.

Pretty rare to see a Tacoma in WCP. I love mine though! It's one of the better paint options toyota offers. I've seen some really bad white, black and lunar factory paint jobs.

 

Picked it up yesterday. I am so thankful that my wife talked me into waiting on this color.
