The green is very nice, might be worth the extra $1500 price increase.

Overall impression of the truck is good, I’ll probably buy one when the 400 mile battery pack is released and my order window opens up. Brake regen is fairly aggressive, seems a lot stronger than the Teslas I’ve driven in the past. Acceleration is stupid fast. The truck either has noisier motors or less sound proofing than the Teslas and you can actually hear it, something I was surprised by but quite like. The quiet of a Tesla is always a bit eerie. The size of the truck overall is close to perfect, a little bigger than a Tacoma but not as big as a full size. Definitely not huge like my current truck.

The Forest Green exterior does look good although I’m still not sold on the Forest Edge interior

Yeah, the one I test drive was a Forest Edge interior and it’s definitely a no go for me. I might even go as far as to say it’s ugly.

Saw another one in white this morning, they sure do have the stance right on it. Not a huge fan of jacked up to the sky trucks.

The green interior is a little too 70s avocado green for me.

They were supposed to race the Mach E against a Mustang GT. Did they?

Did you ask the Rivian Guide about the Max Pack? I’ve seen some speculate that it won’t happen or will be further delayed, and not seeing anything from Rivian publicly about testing or actual range is a bit discouraging. Also, I haven’t seen anything about the Max Pack impacting the frunk size or underseat storage (where are they stuffing the extra batteries in the pack?).

I did but she said they don't know much more than us when it comes to what Rivian's plans or timelines are. She said they have a few early preorder holders with Max Packs and tentative delivery dates early next year though. No mention of it impacting storage space - I'd imagine they designed the chassis with room for it rather than having to build two separate cab dimensions with added overhead.

How many dead hookers can you fit in the frunk of a Mach E?

The last place I saw was in the bed under the window. 800+ miles. If this is what you're all talking about?

That green does look pretty good. I remember the MaxPack (not sure if they were calling it that at the time) from years back. Not a huge fan simply because it eats up a lot of space in an already small bed (and if I'm going on an extended trip where I'd really need that juice, I'd likely be carrying more gear), but it is what it is.

    edit: Fixed typos.

“Max Pack” is the integrated 180 kWh battery (vs. 135 kWh “Large” and 100 kWh “Standard”), not some temporary battery.
