I'm fitting a td05H sized for a 2.0, so in theory with all the head+flow work I should be able to spool it into positive boost by 2500-3000 or so?

With the current gear set, second gear, and an rpm limit raised to 7800, I should be able to stay in second gear for the entirety of most courses.

 

When I was doing it they had a granny corner all the time. Apparently you have the ability to keep rpm’s up..

 

I am slightly hampered by the granny corner. But my trans also refuses to go into first unless I'm doing 7mph or less, which means unless I spin out and stop I typically can't use it. I usually have to find a line through that one corner that acts more like a momentum line, and keep as much speed up with some trailing brake normally.

 

I mean, I know I'm not in a Miata, so I accept that and try to find ways around it. I really think a shorter ratio steering rack would help immensely.

 

If you could figure out the Ackerman, shorter tie rod ends would help also..
