Since you're here @JustDSM .... Is there a way to disable the rpm kill when I press both the brake and gas simultaneously? Certain driving styles use a 'steer with the brake' technic and when I do this, my truck drops RPM and power until I let off the brake.

 

I can disable traction control, but not stability control. It depends on what system is activating the throttle closure. I’m not certain, in short :/

 

ABS kill switch. Or pull the fuse.

 

I can do burnouts fine on mine with the vsc off.

 

Toyota reflashed all ecus due to multiple people says "the throttle stuck" the update included the throttle would cut off with the brake applied. People said "they where on the brakes and it was not slowing down".
It was part of cutting the accelerator pedal to s small nub.

 

Burnouts aren't the issue. It's the throttle cut out when I apply brakes.

 

Same. I can left foot brake going into a corner while gasing it. No rpm cut.

 

Random Q but has anyone heard of tunes available for the 2022 Tundra TT 3.5l?

I know there’s the JB4 thing, but that kinda seems sketchy to me as it’s just modifying signals and tricking the ECU.
Seems like a scenario for something to go awry and create conditions for a failure.

 

i have seen the jb4 on the bmw's, it will clear faults on every key cycle. that is what makes me leery. there will be better options out there soon. be patients.

That’s my suggestion for my buddy too. The safest and best option is HPT.

 

But the real question is, what would you do for a Klondike bar?

True on the Klondike’s, but never had an issue playin in mud!
