Do you need to enable the “Remote Connect” trial on your Toyota app to get those door unlock messages? All I did was download the app and add the VIN. I don’t want to unnecessarily enable trials before I get the truck as I’ll get less use out of them before they expire.

The potential strike includes engineers and conductors on the trains. It would bring the freight rail system to a grinding hault.

 

When I found out my truck was at the dealer I removed the vehicle. The next day when I thought they lost it, I added it back on and all my subscriptions reset to new date.

 

For those waiting. During my 7 months wait I was able to accrue parts. She is 5 days old with 112 miles.

As of last week, the dealer told me it was due into the dealership on about October 19th. So he gave me the wrong Vin number of a similarly built truck, or he sold it after even though I put a deposit down.
A phone call will be made when time permits.

Its a SE Toyota truck, I can only see the spec sheet. Looks like the build date was scheduled for 09/08.

Appreciate the info and I was going to address resetting the dates with them at delivery (since they appear to be counting down from build date already). My question however is do I need to ‘activate’ anything to get those door unlock messages people talk about here. All services show a button to start the trial which I haven’t done yet. I have done nothing to identify me as the owner as I’m not the owner yet. Anyone could put my vin onto their app right now. I’m just wanting some confidence I’m ready to receive door unlocks so I know when they have apparently taken it off the train.
