What do you use now instead of the camper, or have you converted to hotels with room service?

Does it feel top heavy/tippy off road? 400 isn't much but it does sit up a bit.

Not really. I noticed it on road more, but I did the front and rear TRD sway bars so i don’t even notice now. the biggest issue is the side profile if you have a crosswind since it’s just shy of 8 feet tall. Off road / slow speeds you don’t even know it’s there really

I don't know why manufacturers think the OEM mud flaps need to be the stiffest thing in the entire world that doubles as a dirt depository. When I had my frontier they were redoing a road by me. There was a big drop off from the KwikTrip parking lot into the base of the currently being redone road and the stiff ass OEM mud flaps made a hellaciously bad sound and one of them broke. I've already had the current OEM ones making a racket in the woods instead of folding and sliding over things like they should.

TLDR: OEM mud flaps are too stiff and have useless pockets that retain dirt and mud.

No mudflaps; no dirt and mud retention.

More like rust prevention build  I have seen farrr to many times little rock chips become widespread paint damage after moisture and salt get underneath.

We don't live in the best place to be obsessed with perfection. The way they salt the roads around here..just so some 16 year old can be "safe" in 3rd gear at 9k rpm in his FWD civic doesn't crash into an elderly person who can barely see over the steering wheel on roads that look like swiss cheese.

Oh I agree, I will never even consider perfection. Hell my truck gets a carwash like once a month maybe and that's it lol. But I still undercoat and use mudflaps just because it feels wrong if I don't. I drive on gravel allll the time so without mudflaps there would be significant damage pretty quickly. Each to their own though :D

I live on a gravel road, so without mudflaps I can’t see out the windows cuz they are covered in crud
