I've been down in Ellsworth, but I'll be back in the bangor area now.

Oh no kidding. That’ll be better than driving up and down Rt.1 during tourist season!

I don't know what's worse, tourist season or farm season. You're either stuck behind a slow moving tractor, or some slowpoke in a Subaru... :annoyed:

Figure you guys would like this one. Not sure what the parts really do, but any repair work we do to either the nut usually has to be heated while we cool the threads with dry ice, then it slips right off.

A guy I work with saw a very impatient tourist from mass weaving in and out of traffic in Ellsworth so they could get ahead of everyone. They were speedo g in the left lane and had to slam on the brakes because someone was turning, then then got rear ended which flattened all of the 4 bicycles on the back of their car!

I agree. It overall hasn't been bad, but I'll be happy being 5 minutes from home instead of an hour.

Looks like silicone spray with some added ingredients.

    From B'laster website:
"B’laster Garage Door Lubricant is a silicone-based lubricant that leaves a tack-free film that won’t accumulate dust and dirt. Formulated with a proprietary fluoropolymer to help reduce friction and wear. In some instances, its extreme pressure agents may make it a suitable replacement for grease. It effectively helps stop squeaks associated with garage doors and mechanisms."

    Fluoropolymer -- AKA: Teflon

Common examples of Extreme Pressure additives are:
    molybdenum disulfide
    graphite
    sulfurized olefins
    dialkyldithiocarbamate complexes

    New poll.

Bought a jump box for the truck, and to use wherever else.

I’ve got one my in-laws gave me years ago that has a built in air compressor but it’s so big and heavy it stays in the shop. It is handy though, if you have 20 minutes to pump a tire up

I dont have one. But curious of how good they are. Whats the cranking amps?

I jumped an old late 60s Pontiac the other day that had one of those packs and it wouldnt turn over the old car. Hooked up the truck and it fired right up.

Here’s what’s fun about having a firearms license. Somebody ordered this and didn’t tell me what it was, so I got quite the surprise when I opened the box. That’s a .308 round in front of the bolt for reference. The stock is in the box still, I just need the serial number off the rifle, I’ll let the customer put it together. 3A120AD9-44A4-46EF-B9C2-56A1EBD61CD7.jpg126859DC-7B2F-4D29-A8DD-CC49029FD51F.jpg
