Nope, that will look very silly

Is it the guest or master bath? We had a towel rack on the back of my door growing up due to lack of space. It worked out well. If not put up a hook or 2 behind the door or next to the tub/ shower

    are you paying attention? lol

If you are splashing your piss on the wall above the toilet then you might not want to keep towels in the bathroom at all. :)

Ill add that in both bathrooms in my house there is a towel rack above the toilet.

I don't think I would mind how it looks too much. But the more I think about it, it would only be a matter of time before someone decides to use it as a handle to lean on while peeing and end up breaking the bar or the drywall or both.

It's the only bathroom  ... for now.
The back of the door would work.

So... I hate drying my hands where I have to lean over a toilet. Is there a mirror to the right of the sink preventing you from having a towel hook/ rack there? If so why not just get a fancy command hook for $6 and put it on the mirror and call it a day? https://www.command.com/3M/en_US/co...294529207&preselect=5584706+3293786499&rt=rud

    Is it that simple?

hahah when you stand in front of you toilet to pee. The splash back can travel 5-6 feet in either direction. Just a fact. Maybe you should change up your towel rack situation then! haha

I'm talking bath-towels not hand-towels. There was no hand-towel hanging apparatus either, but I took care of that by mounting a towel ring on the wall to the right of the sink.

I just put mine over the shower door or over the shower curtain rod. :anonymous:

Also our kids bathroom has a bath towel bar under the window and it was the only place to solidly mount the towel bar where the towels had enough room to air out and dry. I find this perfectly acceptable in my home.

So since we are having a discussion about how far pee travels and your concerns about the bathroom. Have you looked into the studies on fecal matter in bathrooms. I am pretty confident you wont want to keep anything in the bathroom.
    :crapstorm:

That's what I've been doing for the past week, hanging it over the shower curtain rod. I'm just used to having a dedicated bar to hang my towel :notsure:

My bathroom is similar, no good place for a bar.
The towels have hung over the rod for almost 30 years now. It works fine.

You know you're supposed to sit when you poop right? lol

The concern is pee splatters on the towel above your toilet, you wash your hands (i hope), you use that towel with the sprinkled pee on it to dry your hands, so you get pee hands lol
People also dry their face on the towel after bushing their teeth, so pee face. Unless thats what youre into lol

Sounds like some of you all need to learn to pee sitting down on the toilet.
