I've gone past it a few times... one of the few places I go to bird hunt.

Nice! I haven’t hunted out there a ton, there can be a lot of traffic, but I’m probably not picking the right roads.

You're definitely right about the traffic. First couple weeks of the season I try to get out before sunrise and pick a road 10-15 miles in to start on. Gives me a bit of a jumpstart on the crowds

I’ve jumped a few in the road to long pond, just before 27,000 before, but I was fishing and didn’t have the shotgun with me. I like it farther out, from burntland lake to 1st machias is my favorite. We camp out there in the spring

They're certainly jumpy out there. Growing up by moose head region, the partridge up there are slow and wait for you. Not the case around bangor/kenduskeag...

Nope not at all! We hunt in Ashland area in October they are a little less jump up there, as long as you don’t go up on a moose hunting week.

-I was at Sam's last weekend and noticed the Christmas stuff, wont get into the mood until December 13th when it finally drops below 60 degrees.
-Also noticed the Noco boost when I was there. Good deal. I think Rahl is right, it's a made for Big Box version, which is fine because Noco makes great stuff! Ive got two gb40's, one stays in mamas car, one will stay at my camp. I'm looking at picking up a Gbx 75(2500a) around black friday/cyber monday when they go on sale. The 75 is enough for 8.5 liter gas or 6.5l diesel.

I have one similar to this one. It has restarted my Taco when I drained the battery running a fan through the bed inverter without any issues. I mainly use it at my cabin on riding mowers and such though.

Small, holds a charge forever and cheap. Not sure why everyone doesn't have one.

If it is the older large style take it apart, you might find the batteries are replaceable and cost less than you expect.

I like the tape measures all in a row.

I have a thing with tapes, I probably have purchased 35 and can actually find maybe two at any given moment.
