Ya know.... I specifically wore converse for damn near 2 decades (mainly because i loved them as a kid) but just to get used to shitty shoes, so if I ever went off the grid I knew I could make my own shoes

Thanks Speedy! I'm 100% in for human suffering so that decision is easy. First time I've had to sit with a faithful, love you no matter what kind of day you had, always happy to see you, let's go do anything companion and know the next shot stops the heart. Wish she would have checked out while we were on the mountain.

 

I feel that... when I had to put my lil Gordo down, she was on an up-swing. Happy and attentive and didn't look like she was suffering although she hadn't eaten solid foods in almost 3 days by that point. Due to the vet being stupid busy I had to schedule way far in advance, she was suffering from an infection in her eye that came back after being treated and going away. Doc was also sure she had ovarian cancer, even though I never paid for that testing given what she was going through with the eye infection.

It didn't make it any easier at all, but I was thankful she wasn't in pain anymore

 

Aww man, you are stabbing me here! I had a neighbor named Gordon. Old widower I used to help out with pretty much everything on his house. I'd answer the phone "what now Gordo?".

The Vet said it was an aggressive cancer that got into her lungs. He sent flowers, which was nice. Hope that wasn't included in the bill.

Does this type of event even get mentioned in the local news outside of Utah? I guess it's better than an overpriced, clapped out Taco on ksl?

Why not just identify as a man and avoid the hassle of surgery. I'm all for freeing the puppies for equality.
