Got a follow up call for the job. There's only 2 others in the running and I was the first call. If you had follow up calls would you call your preferred guy first or last? lol

 

I'd call whichever resume was on the top of the pile, so you're probably first.

 

That's was my thought as well. I'd have a list with all 3 with the preferred guy being up top. I'm positive I was the first one called. I asked about the timeline for decision and job start. Decision by Friday and start date 10/3 or 10/10.

well, i chickened out and canceled my PM $250 sell order and sold HKD at $200 PM this morning....shoulda kept the $250 sell

I know more than the average joe - I recognize my knowledge level. I'm not clueless about what a credit card does, how a 401k works, etc (like I used to be!)

but "The Gamma is 2.45" to me just sounds like something said in a Marvel movie. I know enough about options to accidentally make money, the greeks I've never really gotten a casual grasp of. I know I've looked them up, read what they are, and understood it. And then had 3 white claws and immediately lost that knowledge.

 

Gamma is essentially the expected volatility in the premium of options as compared to moves in the underlying.

Higher gamma = large option premium changes as the stock price moves.

 

Dumb it down more! High gamma, explosion, HULK GREEN! Lol

But yes, on the upside thats more or less correct.

Prices can, unfortunately, also go down.

Delta is the rate of change in an options premium. Gamma is the speed of that change. Delta can never be over 1 and Gamma is very rarely over 1. Basically for every penny BBIG moves the $1 strike will move 2.5 pennies.

I mean I don't own any, but its makin moves on that acquisition announcement.

 

It's got HEAVY volume. It's also part of BBIG1 options contracts so it should theoretically also move the price of BBIG.
